The Women’s Society of Washington University held its fifth August Trend Event at Neiman-Marcus in Plaza Frontenac. This year’s theme, Art in Fashion, was moderated by Neiman-Marcus fashion buyers Mark Lawson and Kel Rowe. Models were from West Modeling agency.

Before the runway show, guests enjoyed passed appetizers and wine, along with the opportunity to participate in several raffle contests. Cheryl DiMauro, vice president and general manager of Neiman-Marcus, welcomed guests and introduced Kathy Frost, president of the Women’s Society. Madison Bouse, this year’s Elizabeth Gray Danforth Scholar, transferring into Washington University from St. Louis Community College Meramec campus, spoke as well.

The Women’s Society of Washington University has awarded 55 full-tuition scholarships to St. Louis Community College graduates and presented 36 leadership awards to graduation senior women.
