With 400 new ovarian cancer diagnoses in the state of Missouri each year, the importance of awareness of the early warning signs is vital and just part of what St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness does to impact ovarian cancer survivorship. At this year's Living Out Loud Gala, friends, guests, survivors and family met to celebrate the work of SLOCA and to help raise funds to help its mission. The William Purser Center at Logan University was decorated in teal as guests browsed multiple silent and live auction items, raffle items and more while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. As part of the evenings program, the Volunteer Impact Award was given to Beth and Bruce Hudson, and the Teal Spirit award was given to St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer.
