The Assistance League of St. Louis held its annual Imagine! Planting Seeds of Hope Gala on Nov. 2 at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. The event featured a cocktail hour and a dinner, followed by a silent auction and a live auction. Karen Pennington chaired the event. Renee Knot, co-anchor of Today St. Louis, served as the auctioneer. Jane Harbron, president of the Assistance League, gave the opening and closing remarks. The Assistance League of St. Louis is an organization that is 100 percent volunteer-based with members who dedicate their time to philanthropic programs serving the unmet needs of under-served children and adults in the St. Louis region.
