Women of Achievement Celebration Toast

Women of Achievement Celebration Toast

  • Updated

Each year, Women of Achievement hosts a champagne toast after the annual Women of Achievement Luncheon to celebrate the success and hard work of the committee chairs and luncheon presenters. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 luncheon was canceled, but in its place was the 65th Women of Achievement Awards Celebration, a one-hour awards celebration that was filmed at The Fabulous Fox Theatre over the summer and broadcast on Sept. 14 on the Nine Network of Public Media – Channel 9, the local PBS powerhouse.

As a thank you to the 65th Women of Achievement Awards Celebration co-chairs and committee chairs, Women of Achievement hosted its Celebration Toast on Oct. 3 at the Enterprise Pavilion in Shaw Park. To ensure the safety of attendees, tables were marked for social distancing, and guests were treated to a boxed continental breakfast from Butler's Pantry with mini Moet champagne bottles. Each committee chair was gifted a paperweight made by local glass artist Tony Cray, who created each glass paperweight by hand and used the same color of Women of Achievement blue. Each paperweight is a one-of-a-kind work of art.
