Local nonprofits aren’t just the backbone of Ladue News – they’re the heart of our community and the lifeblood of the metro area. This year, the needs of these organizations deepened, more new causes and challenges arose than ever before, and the incredible work of members and volunteers alike increased tenfold. So when it came time to plan our annual Charity Awards special section, we knew we couldn’t pick just one charity to celebrate – and we also knew we couldn’t decide who to honor on our own.
For the first time ever, the Ladue News Charity Awards have been entirely decided by you, our readers. We asked you which organizations meant most to you this year, and your enthusiasm and passion for local causes blew us away. Also for the first time, we expanded our program to honor a whopping total of five winners – each of which lifts up the metro area in dynamic, innovative and essential ways.
We are thrilled to be able to shine a light on these five terrific organizations and all of the selfless and thoughtful work they do. As they say, it takes a village – and it’s safe to say this village wouldn’t have made it through this past year without them. Wishing heartfelt congratulations to each of our winners.
Thank you for all you do.
