A little rain didn’t dampen spirits as guests gathered at Busch Stadium for A Night Under the Lights, Mercy Health Foundation’s 18th annual benefit for Mercy Kids. VIP guests gathered in the clubhouse to mingle and take photos at the lockers of their favorite players, after which came a Q&A with John Mozeliak, the St. Louis Cardinals’ president of baseball operations. After a tour of the dugouts, guests threw a few speed gun-measured pitches. The Cardinals Club was the spot for dinner and a live auction, with proceeds benefiting the programs and services at Creve Coeur’s Mercy Kids Therapy and Development Center.
“Mercy has a wonderful mission,” co-chair Eric Stranghoener says. “And we have a particular campaign, a new Mercy Kids Therapy and Development Center, which is going to continue transforming the lives of children in our community that very much need it. It’s inspiring to us, and we’re honored to be a part of it.”
