There will be a display of photographs by Donald Beere at the Ethical Society of St. Louis from April 26th through June 2nd, 2019. It is free and open to the public week days from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am until around 1:30 pm. There will be a reception on May 5th from 12:30 until 2:30 pm that is open to the public.

The thirty-two photographs displayed fall into four groups: nature, abstract, "Reflections", and other. Don feels that the "Reflections" are especially noteworthy. Prior to moving from Minneapolis in 2001, Don took a series of photos, using the reflections of skyscrapers in the surrounding windows. He had been moving toward more abstract work but felt that "these photographs taught me the principles of abstract photography".

Don was a professor of psychology for 29 years at Central Michigan University. He also had a clinical practice for 42 years, retiring in 2013 and moving to St. Louis.
