Karlovsky & Company Dance presents the digital premiere of INTERWOVEN available for online viewing from March 26 through April 11, 2021.  INTERWOVEN brings to life choreographic nature-inspired landscapes through this evening-length production that involves multifaceted collaboration and integration of contemporary dance-theater, live music, spoken word, and visual art.

INTERWOVEN is Karlovsky & Company Dance’s main-stage spring streaming concert featuring original choreography by the company’s founder and artistic director, Dawn Karlovsky, live and recorded sound scores by St. Louis musicians Kalo Hoyle and Tory Starbuck, and stage design by visual artist, Bill Russell. Inspired by the language of trees and the book The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben, Karlovsky creates a new work of contemporary dance-theatre with an abstract reflection on our humanity, community, and our communication and connection with nature and our environment.

Concept and Choreography: Dawn Karlovsky

Live and recorded sound scores: Kalo Hoyle and Tory Starbuck

Stage Design/Visual Art:  Bill Russell

Enjoy this online performance from the comfort of your own home.
