Cedar Lake Cellars, a year-round winery and event center, will host a free movie night featuring “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the movie begins at 7 p.m.
“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is a 2000 comedy film directed by Ron Howard based on Dr. Seuss’s 1957 children’s book. The movie is about the people in Whoville who enjoy celebrating Christmas while the Grinch, played by Jim Carrey, actively hates the holiday. The film also stars Jeffrey Tambor and Christine Baranski and is narrated by Anthony Hopkins.
The show – which will feature seating on a first-come, first-served basis – is free and open to guests 21 years of age and older and will be shown in the winery’s Barrel Room. A wide array of sandwiches and barbecue, as well as flatbread pizzas and appetizers, are available for purchase at the winery’s new concession area, The Smokehouse. Customers can also enjoy mixed and specialty drinks, wine, beer, and Cedar Lake Cellars’ wine slushies.
