Dexter Silvers is a well established professional self-taught artist with an open studio in the Grove neighborhood at 5205 Chouteau Ave. He was born in St. Louis and inherited his talents from hie mother and father. Dexter is known for his unique depictions of photo realism. He paints St. Louis scenes, such as the Arena, Goody Goody Diner, the Balloon Race, Art Hill, Bevo Mill, and St. Louis churches. There is so much precision in his work that you can enjoy time being drawn in by all the details.

Dexter has exhibited across the US, has been featured on several television news stations, and won awards for his work.
