Now in its ninth year, the St. Luke’s Hospital Healthy Woman Award honors local women who not only embody a healthy lifestyle, but also inspire others in the community to follow their lead. Supporters, and state and local officials recently attended the grand opening of SouthSide Early Childhood Center. The new building is twice the size of the previous facility, and includes 10 classrooms, a multipurpose room, resource library, kids’ ‘kitchen’ and preschool garden, state-of-the-art meeting and conference rooms, and a natural playground.
