The head of the class...For the second year in a row, Ladue Horton Watkins High School is the top-rated high school in Missouri, according to a nationwide annual ranking.
Displaying the company’s dedication to community service, a team of Moneta Group employees recently volunteered at the St. Louis Area Foodbank, sorting and packaging more than 16,000 pounds of food. The food will provide 13,000 meals for hungry St. Louisans. The company also presented the organization with a $5,000 check.

A juggler, stilt-walker, human statue, magician, trapeze artist and live music provided entertainment at the event, which raised more than $90,000 for the school’s programs and curriculum. Sophomores, juniors and seniors majoring in fashion design at the Washington University Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts presented their work at the 85th Annual Fashion and Design Show. Models, who walked the runway wearing the students’ creations, had their hair style by Dominic Bertani and his staff from Dominic Michael Salons. Bertani, who has styled hair at the event for 22 years, sponsors the Silver Scissors Designer of the Year, which was presented to senior Claudia Frolova this year.
U.S. News & World Report recently named St. Luke’s Surrey Place a ‘Best Nursing Home,’ rating it five out of five stars in its sixth annual Best Nursing Homes ratings. The facility competed with almost 16,000 nationwide to receive the recognition. St. Luke’s Surrey Place, located in Chesterfield, has 120 beds in skilled nursing, and 20 residential rooms for residents needing minimal assistance.
