Story: Interspersing parables from the Gospel according to Matthew (along with a few from the Gospel according to Luke) with music inspired by Christian hymns, Godspell takes a look at the public life of Jesus Christ, from his baptism by his cousin and precursor, John the Baptist, to his crucifixion and death a few years later.
So, I was watching a national morning news show last week—you know, the one with the girl with too much makeup, the short guy with thinning hair and three has-been stars from the '90s. Anyway, in between the stories on teen-friendly lunches and senior-friendly dinners—both presumably served at the same time—there was a segment on parenting trends. Well, I set my leftover pizza slice down and took notice. God knows when it comes to parenting, I need to know what I am not doing that would be wrong if I were doing it.
For every hair type, there’s a hitch. But there are products readily available to target your ‘tress-ful’ problem—be it hair that’s damaged, dull or dry.
We put our hair through a lot trying to get the latest look—but sometimes, all of that effort turns against us as we damage our locks with blow dryers, curling irons, straighteners and the elements. Story: Lear, the elderly king of Britain, has decided to retire and to divide his kingdom among his three daughters. Goneril, the eldest, and middle daughter Regan are overly effusive in expressing their love for Lear, but young Cordelia simply says that she dutifully loves him as a daughter should love a father. Angered by Cordelia’s low-key approach, Lear disinherits her. When his faithful lord Kent tries to reason with him, Lear banishes Kent from the kingdom.

Everything from body temperature to weight to energy are metabolically modulated, so an imbalance in thyroid function can cause a range of unpleasant symptoms.
Let me just start off by saying that there may not be two more likeable people on the planet than Tina Fey and Paul Rudd. (Yes, Fey’s Garnier hair commercial where she suddenly has the glowing locks of Rapunzel is mildly annoying, but I’m willing to overlook it.) Pairing them in a romantic comedy seems like a no-brainer. The problem here is this isn’t a romantic comedy: It’s not funny and it’s barely romantic. Yes, there are a few one-liners thrown in for good measure, but make no mistake—this movie is a drama. It’s not a bad movie, I just don’t like being duped.
Helping older adults transition from drivers to passengers can be a sensitive topic. “The loss of independence is what they fear most,” notes Mark Blum of BrightStar Care.
Sparkle and shine always are a must for the holidays, and this year is no exception. Black and gold is the ‘now’ combination. Paired with Art Deco accessories, you’ll be sure to dazzle all season long.

Her husband has run off with his girlfriend and, in retaliation, Gaynelle has “accidentally” run her car into the double-wide trailer home of that man-stealing woman. Gaynelle subsequently faces various legal charges as well as being observed by a court-appointed psychologist checking on her sanity. All of this happens shortly before the annual Verdeen family reunion in Sweetgum, Texas, usually presided over by Gaynelle’s overbearing Aunt La Merle.
Today’s bullies are much more sophisticated than the troublemakers of my youth. Victims, these days, don’t typically have a black eye or bloody nose; rather, they arrive home with internal scars that are unnoticeable to their parents and more emotionally damaging than a punch to the stomach.
If there’s one modern malady that everyone seems to share, it’s stress. The demands of everyday life—working, parenting, fulfilling social obligations—can make even the most organized person feel overwhelmed.
Although celebrities like Bruce Willis, Patrick Stewart and Sean Connery may be rocking the bald look, not everyone is at ease with a visible scalp. Yet genetics, illness, stress and drug side-effects may cause significant hair loss in men and women, whether you like it or not.
It’s tempting to blame our weight problems on a slow metabolism, even as we pop another potato chip into our mouth. The truth is, a faulty metabolism rarely is to blame for being overweight. In fact, our bodies are just too efficient for our own good.
