At first glance, the original space reminded the June Roesslein team of an old-time ice-cream parlor, according to Smith, who, along with McGovern, designed what's being labeled the 'bonus room' in this year's Show House. The trim, chair rail and shutters had been painted bright red, and the walls were covered with red-and-tan-striped wallpaper. Café curtains had the unfortunate effect of preventing most of the available natural light from entering the small room. Additionally, the chair rail visually cut the walls in half and made the ceiling feel lower than its actual 8-foot height. On the upside, the room featured a fireplace with a pretty dark wood mantel, a vintage wood floor and attractive millwork that could be transformed into an architectural asset, albeit after many coats of paint.

The St. Louis Rams and food, beverage and retail partner Delaware North Companies Sportservice recently announced a multi-year contract extension that includes an expansion of services at the Dome. Look for some signature menu items from some of the area's best eateries to be available on game day, including: Sugarfire Smokehouse's Brisket Cheese Steak Sandwich and Smoked Sausage; Strange Donut's Chicken ‘n Waffle Sandwich and a selection of its signature donuts, including the Gooey Butter, Maple Bacon and Camp Fire; The BLT Sandwich and Chocolate-Covered Marshmallows from Crown Candy Kitchen; the Smoked Brisket Sandwich, Fried Oyster Po' Boy Sandwich and Crispy Fried Green Tomatoes from The Peacemaker Lobster & Crab Company; Gus' Pretzels famous Pretzel Bites and Bratwurst Pretzel Sandwich; and the Bandana's Pulled Pork Sandwich, Pulled Chicken Sandwich and BBQ Nachos.
