Laura Dawson DiLeo and Andrew Steven Elliott were married on January 28, 2017, in a ceremony officiated by Deacon Philip Hengen and Father Gary Braun at the Catholic Student Center in Washington University. A reception followed at Moulin, where guests enjoyed dinner and dancing.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Anthony DiLeo of St. Louis. Megan White, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Elizabeth Cook, sister of the groom; Julia Davis, friend of the bride; Katie DiLeo, sister-in-law of the bride; Sarah Martino, sister of the groom; and Katherine Mayer, friend of the bride. Laura received her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and her master’s degree in social work from Washington University. She is a crisis counselor for the Fort Zumwalt School District.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Steven Elliott, and Mr. and Mrs. Rick Dennis, all of Evansville, Indiana. Matthew Miller, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Gregory Cook, brother-in-law of the groom; Thomas Culver , friend of the groom; Daniel DiLeo, brother of the bride; Ryan Harrison, friend of the groom; and Joseph Martino, brother -in-law of the groom. Andrew is a graduate of Indiana University. He is director of accounting at Westport Pools in St. Louis.
The couple honeymooned in Maui and now reside in St. Louis.
