THE 83RD ANNUAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY SAM FOX SCHOOL OF DESIGN AND VISUAL ARTS presented a fashion extravaganza featuring models wearing outfits created by the school’s senior and junior fashion design majors? This year marked the retirement of Jeigh Singleton, who has directed the Fashion Design program since 1987. For the 20th year, hair was done by Dominic Bertani and his staff from Dominic Michael Salon. The event was chaired by alumna Susan Block and co-hosted by Block and Craft Alliance’s Saskya Emmink-Byron. THE NATIONAL KIDNEY FOUNDATION SERVING EASTERN MISSOURI AND METRO EAST held its annual Kidney Walk? More than 900 walkers and 100 volunteers helped raise $124,000 and awareness of chronic kidney disease, which affects 26 million Americans. THE JACK & J.T. SNOW FUND at Washington University hosted ‘The Thirst Wine Launch’ at Mike Shannon’s restaurant?
