Mr. and Mrs. William Torno of St. Louis are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Christine, to Matthew J. Zahra, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Zahra of Florissant.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Cor Jesu Academy. She graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University, where she earned a B.S. in nuclear medicine technology and was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She is employed by St. Luke’s Hospital as a nuclear medicine technologist and marketing liaison. Meghan is also the owner and director of Mayer-Torno School of Irish Dance. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Feely and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Torno.
The future groom graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University, where he received a B.A. in geology. He earned an M.A. in Earth and planetary sciences from Washington University. Matt is a faculty member at Lindenwood University and St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gore and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Zahra.
A May wedding is planned at the Shrine of St. Joseph, with a reception at Kemoll’s Restaurant and Top of the Met. LN
