Neal and Terry Morrison of Chesterfield are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Elizabeth, to Jeffery Michael Boyher, son of Jeffery and Pamela Boyher, also of Chesterfield.
The bride-to-be graduated from Marquette High School in 2005. She earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education in 2009 and a Master of Education in 2010 from University of Missouri, where she graduated summa cum laude. She was a member and officer of Delta Delta Delta sorority and a cheerleader. Katie currently teaches first grade in the Parkway School District.
The future groom graduated from Marquette High School in 2004 and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2009. He is employed as a biologist at Monsanto.
Katie and Mike met seven years ago and began dating in high school. While vacationing in the Bahamas in May, he proposed in Versailles Gardens on Paradise Island. A July wedding is planned at Old Peace Chapel, with a reception at the Visitor’s Center at the Lindell Pavilion in Forest Park. Following a honeymoon on the island of Maui in Hawaii, the newlyweds will reside in Chesterfield.
