A great way to add a really personal touch to a bridal bouquet is to add beautiful jewelry pieces, like broaches from a mother or grandmother. You also can tie in some of the bride’s dress fabric to wrap the handle.
—TRISHA HAISLAR, ELEGANT CELEBRATIONS
The bride’s bouquet should reflect her personality and also go along with the style of the wedding. For a formal wedding, you want to go with traditional flowers, but for an outdoor or vineyard wedding, you can use wildflowers.
—GINA DEAN, COUTURE FLORAL AND EVENTS
The place I always like to start with a bride is with her favorite flower and the style of her gown. Some brides refer to different meanings of flowers and want a certain thing that means something, such as fidelity or remembrance.
—MARIANNE PRZETAK, LADUE FLORIST
The shape of the bouquet is important. A longer, slimmer bouquet will make the bride appear taller. Rather than a round bouquet, an asymmetric one will give it depth.
