Anne LeBlanc and Ryan Nunley

Mr. and Mrs. Peter John LeBlanc of Frontenac announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Lindsay, to Dr. Ryan Michael Nunley, son of Dr. and Mrs. James Albert Nunley of Durham, N.C. A February wedding is planned.

Anne received her master’s degree from Washington University School of Medicine. Ryan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Washington University School of Medicine. He is a hip and knee surgeon and assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Washington University.

Julie Fries and Ben Forrest

Mr. and Mrs. John Fries Jr. of Frontenac are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie, to Ben Forrest, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Forrest of Chesterfield.

The bride-to-be graduated from John Burroughs School in 2002, DePauw University in 2006 and Webster University in 2011 with a master’s degree in special education. Julie is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Fries, and the late Clara Johnston and Mr. And Mrs. Christ Orth, all of St. Louis.

The future groom graduated from Parkway West High School in 2003 and Southern Methodist University in 2007. Ben currently is an investment banker with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Forrest of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hilleary of St. Louis.

The couple will wed in January at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church. After a honeymoon in Nevis, West Indies, Ben and Julie will reside in Brooklyn, New York.

Amy Pedroli and Jonathan Bennett

Robert and Kimberly Pedroli, Jr. of Town and Country are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Nicole, to Jonathan Thomas Bennett, the son of Judy Kay Cocks and Myron John Bennett of Jonesburg, Ill. The bride-to-be graduated from Villa Duchesne High School in 2009. She earned a bachelor of political science from the University of Missouri in 2012, and will receive a master’s of education in special education in 2015.

The future groom is a 2003 alumnus of Carmel Catholic High School. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a bachelor of science in environmental geology. He earned his master’s of science in geology at the University of Missouri. He now works as a geo-scientist at Fugro Geoconsulting, Inc.

Amy and Jonathan met 3 years ago at the University of Missouri-Columbia when she was an undergrad and he was working toward his master’s degree. Last March, the couple celebrated Amy’s birthday with a romantic dinner in Houston. Amy received the birthday surprise of her life when Jonathan got down on one knee and asked to spend the rest of his life with her.

The couple is planning a March 22 wedding at the historic Saint Francis Xavier College Church on the Saint Louis University campus. A reception at The Chase Park Plaza will follow. The new couple will honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas and make Houston, Texas their new home.
