Emily Liberman and Adam Altman

    Emily Rebecca Liberman and Adam Michael Altman were married Jan. 8 at The Ritz-Carlton in a ceremony officiated by Rabbi Carnie Shalom Rose.

    The bride is the daughter of Vicki and Steven Schlesinger of Ladue and Terry and Jan Liberman of Ballwin. She is the granddaughter of Minnette and Joe Liberman of Chesterfield and Meryl and Bill Melton of Olivette. Sisters of the bride Natalie Liberman and Nicole Schlesinger served as maid of honor and bridesmaid, respectively. Maisy Borun, daughter of a family friend, was flower girl. Emily currently works as a public relations manager at Marketing Werks.

    The groom is the son of Rosanne Hecht of University City and Glenn Altman of Belleville, Ill. Best friend of the groom Patrick Rodman was best man, and brother of the groom Andrew Altman served as groomsman. Adam is employed as an investment banker at U.S. Bank and is also a second-year, part-time law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law.

    Now residents of Chicago, the couple arranged for Lou Malnati’s Pizza and Sprinkles Cupcakes to be flown in for the reception. The newlyweds honeymooned on the island of St. Barts in the Caribbean.
