Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hempstead of St. Louis are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Barklage Horner, to Everett Louis Ledet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ledet of Memphis, Tenn., and Ms. Brenda Teter of Dallas.
The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. Douglass Horner. The bride-to-be graduated from John Burroughs School and Miami University in Ohio. Currently, she is a senior VP within Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America. Emily is the granddaughter of Mrs. William H.L. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Horner.
The future groom attended San Angelo Central High School and Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Everett works for George McKenna Electrical Contractors as the director of business development.
Emily and Everett met in Dallas in 2009 and became engaged on September 15, 2011. The couple is planning a wedding on September 15 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church with a reception at Old Warson Country Club. Following the wedding, they will reside in Dallas.
