Dr. James and Lynn Boedeker of Ladue are pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Diestelkamp, to Aron John Khoury, son of Joseph and Joann Khoury of Scandia, Minn. Beth is the daughter of the late John Diestelkamp.

The bride-to-be graduated from Visitation Academy in 1996, Wittenberg University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in American studies and Saint Louis University in 2003 with a master’s degree in American studies. Currently, she is a student at University of Minnesota, pursuing a second master’s degree in language and cultures with a concentration in English as a second language.

The future groom graduated from Wayzata High School in 1996, University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies/biology and University of Minnesota in 2007 with a master’s degree in urban and regional planning. He is employed as a project manager at University of Minnesota’s office for Business and Community of Economic Development. Beth and Aron met through mutual friends while attending a concert in Chicago.

The couple is planning a June wedding at the Catholic Student Center at Washington University and a reception at the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center in Forest Park. Following a honeymoon to Costa Rica, they will reside in Minneapolis.
