Courtney Beth Loeffelman and Matthew Charles Gerding were married Oct. 1 at Lafayette Park United Methodist Church where the bride’s parents walked her down the aisle. The couple exchanged matching wedding bands; handmade by the groom, in a ceremony officiated by Laura Taylor and Adam Mustoe. A reception followed at The Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, where guests were greeted with Champagne. The couple enjoyed a choreographed first dance to Michael Buble’s rendition of You Look Wonderful Tonight.
The bride is the daughter of Brenda and Lance Loeffelman of Wildwood. The bride’s sisters, Andrea and Heather Loeffelman, served as maids of honor, and Shannon Hynds was a bridesmaid. Courtney works in the human resources department at First Community Credit Union.
The groom is the son of Charles Gerding of Dittmer, Mo., and Lizabeth Weppner of Hillsboro, Mo. The groom’s brother, Aaron Gerding, served as best man, and Dustin Sterling was a groomsman. Matthew works as a plant manager at Gerding Enterprises.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Secrets Maroma Beach in Mexico where they enjoyed cliff jumping, zip lining and snorkeling. They reside in West County.
