Caroline Carter Gamache and Anthony Edward James Howard were married in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Hugh Barlett at Washington University’s Graham Chapel on Jan. 8.
The bride is the daughter of David and Mary Gamache and the granddaughter of C. Ray Brandenburgh, all of Chesterfield. College friend Carrie Hartman served as matron of honor. The bride’s sisters, Ellie Gamache and Katie Connolly, along with Cory Green, Brooke Beier and sister-in-law, Marjorie Sooter, served as bridesmaids. Niece Mary Claire Connolly was the flower girl. Caroline graduated from Purdue University and currently works as an industrial engineer at Covidien.
The groom is the son of Jim and Laura Howard of Ballwin and Karen Granger of Ellisville. College friend Justin Huensch served as best man. Brandon Zieg, Ryan Zieg, Lee Sooter, Matt Obermark and Paul Spilburg served as groomsmen and Jimmy Wacker was the ring bearer. Anthony graduated from University of Missouri and currently works as the director of high school ministry at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church.
The newlyweds honeymooned on the island of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and now reside in Chesterfield.
