The Ritz Carlton Hotel played host to the Illumination Gala. Guests were treated to cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres followed by dinner and special performance by writer, composer, director, producer and teacher of acting, Jason Alexander. Though Jason Alexander is best known for his award-winning, nine year stint as the now iconic George Costanza of television’s Seinfeld. The Illumination Gala is The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s premier fundraiser for cancer research at Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. The gala supports breakthrough cancer research to develop new ways to prevent and treat cancer. Co-chairs for the evening were George and Melissa Paz and Arnold and Hazel Donald. Chairman for the dinner was Dick Miles.
