The St. Louis Regional Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals held its annual luncheon at Union Station in St. Louis. National Philanthropy Day is a special day set aside each year to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy, and those people active in the philanthropic community, have made to our lives, our communities and our world. This year’s National Philanthropy Day award recipients are: Spirit of Philanthropy- Sam and Marilyn Fox, Outstanding Philanthropist – Phyllis Tirmenstein, Outstanding Fundraising Volunteers - Ann Cady Scott and Hugh Scott, III, Outstanding Fundraising Executive - Amy Rome, Outstanding Young Professional - Jarel Loveless, Outstanding Philanthropic Organization – Norman J. Stupp Foundation, The Commerce Trust Company, Trustee, Outstanding Corporate Philanthropic Program - First Bank, Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy - Agha Haider. Co-chairs for the event were Faith Maddy and Kristi Meyers Gallup.
