A wide variety of guests gathered at the Four Seasons for the St. Louis County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s 83rd Annual Freedom Fund Leadership Dinner. The NAACP is the nation’s oldest and biggest civil rights organization. Guests got the chance to see many awards presented by and to many well known individuals whose spirit is embodies by the theme of the evening, “Strength Through Diversity.” Emcee and former Governor Bob Holden, keynote speaker and U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, the honorable Jason Kander, and St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson were just a few of the notables in attendance.
