Ladue News becomes a work of art…One of the current exhibits at BRUNO DAVID GALLERY features the work of artist KATHARINE KUHARIC, who uses ‘unsolicited images’ from newspapers, magazines and junk mail and presents them in a way that questions celebrity, pop and suburban culture. One such painting especially caught our attention. Title? Ladue News. We’ll leave the interpretation up to you.

Ladue H.S. will be the site of a bone marrow donor drive to help a Ladue family. TIM and MAGGIE MURRY’s four sons are all in need of a bone marrow transplant. The boys, SEAN (21), PATRICK (17), DANNY (10) and TIMMY (8), were diagnosed with Diamond Blackfan anemia at birth, a rare but fatal blood disease that affects less than 500 people in the U.S. The donor drive is on Saturday, April 28. Everyone ages 18 to 55 is encouraged to get ‘swabbed’ and join the National Bone Marrow Registry to see if they can be a match for someone waiting for a donor.
