A harbinger of warmer weather, CIRCUS FLORA has announced its 22nd annual production will be ‘SHERWOOD FOREST,’ a tribute to the legend of Robin Hood and his band of merry men. The show will run June 5 through June 22 in the air-conditioned big top in Grand Center. Tickets are on sale through MetroTix.

Speaking of Grand Center, the arts organization has announced its honorees for the annual Visionary Awards, which recognizes women for their contribution to the local arts and cultural community. The women will be recognized at an event May 21 at the Sheldon Concert Hall.

A dog’s life…Newly-minted celebrity, Belleville native and winner of the prestigious Westminster Dog Show, Uno the beagle, made a personal appearance at THREE DOG BAKERY in Ladue recently. Uno showed up, along with his entourage, to greet hundreds of fans and help raise more than $1,000 for Barkley House, a nonprofit that provides temporary lodging in a home-like setting for people and their pets receiving treatment at the veterinary hospital at University of Missouri. Fact: Since winning the Westminster title, a certain part of the dog’s anatomy has been insured for $1 million to protect his breeding potential!

Congrats to State Rep. SAM PAGE, who recently received the Missouri Coalition of Alzheimer’s Association Chapter’s Leadership of the Year Award in a ceremony held recently in Jefferson City. Page is a pain management specialist in Creve Coeur.
