Music to your ears…Violinist ADAM DEGRAFF, son of ROBYN and GARY DEGRAFF of Clayton, is currently touring the country with pianist LYNN WRIGHT as part of the musical duo PIANAFIDDLE. The duo will make a stop in St. Louis Sept. 14 at the Florissant Civic Center Theatre. DeGraff’s classical training included being named the concertmaster of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago while still a student at Northwestern University, and being the youngest sitting principal in a professional symphony orchestra in the country when he was offered a position by the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. But DeGraff was unhappy in his work and, in a drastic career change, bought a farm with his wife and moved to West Virginia. It wasn’t long before he crossed paths with local musician Lynn Wright, and the two discovered they were kindred musical spirits. They formed the musical group Pianafiddle, which is currently on a 200-stop tour across the country. For ticket information, call 921-5678.
