JCC Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit Kids and Seniors Jewish Community Center By Diane Anderson More than 125 golfers participated in the 28th annual JCC Charity Golf Tournament at Meadowbrook Country Club. As the sun set, the entertainment took the spotlight with cocktails and a dinner reception, including award presentation, raffle and a live auction. Funds raised from the Golf Tournament go toward the needs of the community, including hot meals delivered to homebound seniors, scholarship assistance so children may experience Day Camp or the Early Childhood program, and respite for an exhausted caregiver through the J’s award-winning Adult Day Center. Co-chairs for the tournament were Doug and Sheryl Weber, Boobie and Ronnie Light.
