The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) hosted its annual JDRF T1D Retreat? The event featured Indy 1 racer Charlie Kimball—the first and only driver with type-1 diabetes—as keynote speaker. More than 150 volunteers helped 160 families learn more about diabetes care and treatment, research advances and other information related to life with type 1 diabetes.
