When…Provident held its first annual ‘Visions of Hope Benefit’ at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clayton? More than 250 guests attended, and the event raised more than $200,000 for programs such as suicide prevention and crisis intervention, social enterprise programs, and family and youth counseling. Provident helps more than 50,000 St. Louisians each year, giving them the hope, skills and resources they need to improve their quality of life. When…the YWCA Metro St. Louis hosted the Circle of Women luncheon at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Clayton? More than 500 people attended the invitation-only event, which raised $54,000 to benefit the YWCA St. Louis Regional Sexual Assault Center. When…sixty-three women attended the Jewish Federation’s Women’s Connection annual Lion of Judah event, held at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center? When…Wells Fargo held its fifth annual ‘Fall Classic in May’ golf tournament? The event raised $135,000 for St. Patrick Center, bringing the five-year total to $1.1 million.

When…National City held its fourth annual Day of Caring? Three hundred National City employees joined forces with PHL Inc. and Rebuilding Together-St. Louis to lay sod for a new playing surface on the Soldan High School athletic field. National City also presented a $5,000 donation to Rebuilding Together-St. Louis.
