Chesterfield Arts board president Kathy Higgins and executive director Stacey Morse welcomed 510 guests to the ninth annual Art Feast at Kemp Auto Museum. Morse commended the City of Chesterfield for its partnership, which enables the organization to provide a diverse mix of performing arts programs, including education, library exhibitions, a Writer’s Guild, community performances and resources for arts information.
Art Feast co-chairs were Craig Conway and Richard Jensen, with Mary and Mark Knoy serving as honorary chairs. Artists donated their work for the silent auction, which raised more than $29,000. The evening’s entertainment commenced with a musical improvisation of an on-stage creation by renowned artist Dan Dunn. His rhythmic antics and sweeping canvas strokes produced a painting that sold during the live auction for $12,000.
