Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis hosted an Evening of Hope & Casino Night at Kemoll’s Top of the Met providing guests with breathtaking views of the city skyline while they engaged in auction bidding, story sharing, and fine dining. Casino tables lured the lucky in the lobby immediately after the program.
Boys Hope Girls Hope helps academically capable and motivated children in need to meet their full potential and become men and women for others by providing value centered, family-like homes, opportunities, and education through college.
Mr. Rene Knott served as emcee, while Jan Wacker and Marty Wastler chaired the event. The funds raised from this special night will support the organization in continuing its commitment of providing a home, an education, and a future to its scholars.
Boys Hope Girls Hope presented local philanthropist, volunteer, and communications guru, Laurna Godwin with its inaugural Reflection of Hope Award. This honor acknowledges Godwin for her continued community leadership. The award, intended for those who embody the Boys Hope Girls Hope mission of helping children in need achieve their potential, is named in honor of the agency's founder, Father Paul Sheridan.
