ROBERT BUTLER has joined Starkloff Disability Institute’s board of directors. Butler is executive VP at Smith McGehee Insurance Solutions in Clayton. Also, LORI BECKER has joined as director of development and communications.

Ready Readers appointed three new board members: JEANNE CRAWFORD, PHILLIP HEARN, and JENNY MCPHEETERS. The board also appointed the following directors: LINDA FINERTY, president; MATTHEW LEPPERT, governance VP; RYAN EASLEY, treasurer and finance VP, ANN DILLION, development VP, HELEN O’CONNOR, program VP; and LISA MCLAUGHLIN, secretary.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis has announced its newest board members: COLLEEN DRAZEN, program coordinator at Saint Louis University; RHONDA OVERBERG, RE/MAX Best Choice broker; and MICHELLE ROSNER, VP of sales and marketing at 1st Financial Federal Credit Union.

John F. Kennedy Catholic High School has named four new board members: Rev. CHARLES BARTHEL, Pastor of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish in Manchester; TOM DONAHUE, owner of Total Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning; VINCE KAISER, a financial services consultant; and JANICE RENFRO planning manager at Washington University School of Medicine.

KATHLEEN BECKER, president of SSM St. Mary’s Health Center, and JAMES BUFORD, former president and CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, have joined the board of directors of Casa de Salud.

St. Patrick Center has announced three new board members and a new chairman of the board of trustees. The new board members are: DENNIS JENKERSON, chief of the St. Louis Fire Department; MAUREEN MCGLYNN, of the Kortenhof, McGlynn and Burns law firm; and BOB OLWIG, VP of corporate business development at World Wide Technology. BOB WILL, of the Lewis Rice Fingerish law firm, is the new chairman.

The Foundation Fighting Blindness has appointed LESLIE MORRIS, and JILL and BOB MORRIS as national trustees. The Morris family became involved in the fight against blindness when Leslie’s son, Jack, now 10, was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa.

SERENA MUHAMMAD has joined the Saint Louis Mental Health Board as senior project director for strategic partnerships. Muhammad was founding executive director of America SCORES St. Louis.

PATRICIA CROUGHAN has been nominated as chair of Jewish Federation of St. Louis to succeed current chair BOB MILLSTONE.

The members of the Productive Living Board for St. Louis County Citizens with Developmental Disabilities have elected EUGENE FAHRENKROG as chairman, ERIC BIERLING as vice chairman, MARY BETH MONAFO as secretary, and CHRISTINE NEY as treasurer. Additional board members are MARSHA BONDS, MARY ELIZABETH DORSEY, SARIJANE FREIMAN and SUSAN SCHOEMEHL. The volunteer board is appointed by the St. Louis County Executive, approved by the County Council and oversees the special St. Louis County property tax which generates about $19 million annually.
