Several notable St. Louisans attended the ribbon cutting of the Catalyst Innovation Lab at the Centene Center for the Arts, including St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson. The space is inside the Arts and Education Council’s Centene Center for the Arts on Olive Street at the heart of the Grand Center Arts District. The lab is envisioned as a place to gather, collaborate, learn, and exchange ideas on creativity for more arts and cultural innovation in our area, and its modular design makes it very flexible. Guests enjoyed food and drinks while exploring the lab before hearing from Board Chair Len Eschbach as well as Centene President and CEO Michael Neidorff and Mayor Krewson. Then the ribbon was cut to much applause and tours of the very unique building were given.
