The American Heart Association hosted its Go Red For Women Luncheon in celebration of National Wear Red Day. Almost 800 women in red were in attendance at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Clayton. This event brought St. Louis-area women together and provided them with the opportunity to attend educational sessions about how they can start being heart healthy. This year’s program featured a panel of health experts with KTVI anchor, Jasmine Huda, discussing ways to “step into change” and reduce cardiovascular risk factors. The 2017 Go Red for Women Event Chairs were: Lisa Nichols, and Ruth Saphian.
