Tom Eidelman says he got his first-ever hole-in-one around noon on Feb. 26, 2012, at Westwood Country Clubs hole No. 7. It was on my first golf outing of the year and I was excited to get back out on the course after breaking my thumb a few months before, he says. The fortuitous shot was uphill, over water on a 128-yard par 3 with about 20 mile-per-hour wind in the face, shot with an 8 iron. There were two other witnesses, he notes. Including my cousin Alex Rebya much better golfer who has not had a hole-in-one yet.
