Tim O'Leary, General Director, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis: The St. Louis Symphony--the quality of that orchestra is spectacular. I'll never forget attending a concert when I was contemplating my move from New York City to St. Louis. I was blown away and deeply moved by the beauty of their playing. Since then, I have had many moments in Powell Hall when I have felt absolutely transported--moments when you just feel lucky to be alive, to live in a world where such sounds are possible. That's what art is all about, and that's why the St. Louis Symphony is so world-famous.
