Creve Coeur branch manager Mark Cooper

With loan interest rates still at an all-time low, USA Mortgage stands at the ready for prospective homebuyers.

“It’s an excellent opportunity to buy now,” says Mark Cooper, Creve Coeur branch manager.

Among the top mortgage banks in the state, USA Mortgage has completed a record fourth-straight billion-dollar annual loan volume. And Cooper, a 16-year veteran, has been recognized in the top 1 percent of loan officers nationwide for the past 10 years.

The local, privately owned mortgage company has continued to grow—adding more than 100 employees and three branches in the past three years—due to its experienced staff. “We have aggressively hired good quality loan officers,” Cooper notes.

At the Creve Coeur branch—the top office in the company for the past three years—loan officers each have at least 10 years of industry experience. Cooper says the seasoned staff and the bank’s customized service keep clients coming back—and sending in referrals.

Clients choose among the bank’s five programs to best fit their needs. “The office is a one-stop shop—we process, underwrite and close the loans all in-house, and there’s a title company in-house, as well, so the process is as streamlined as it can get for customers,” Cooper says. The office also has the flexibility and time-efficiency customers desire. “Clients have the ability to apply for a loan in person, online or by phone,” he adds. “It’s all about options.”

In today’s market, USA Mortgage is helping clients take advantage of the historically low home loan interest rates. “We expect the record rates to continue through at least the end of the year,” Cooper says.

Whether clients are buying or selling a home, Cooper emphasizes that this is the perfect time. “Even if you are selling a home and not getting what it is worth out of it, you can make it up through the low interest rates on the new home you buy.”

In addition to its Creve Coeur headquarters, located at 12140 Woodcrest Executive Drive, Suite 150, the company has branches throughout the bi-state St. Louis metro area.
