The annual Summer Opportunities Fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 29 in the McDonnell Athletic Center at Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS), 101 North Warson Road. Now in its 35th year, the popular event allows families to explore a variety of summer activities that are available locally, nationally and internationally.
Exhibitors serve children ranging from pre-school through high school, and include day, overnight and specialty camps. Representatives from approximately 160 summer schools, athletic camps, tutorial services, travel programs, dance schools, art camps and more will attend.
The fair is sponsored by John Burroughs School, MICDS and Whitfield School, and its location alternates each year among the three schools. The event is free and open to the public. Visit summeropportunitiesfair.org for more information. LN
