SATURDAY, MAY 19

TRACK & FIELD

CLASS 3 AND 4 SECTIONAL MEETS, MULTIPLE SITES, 10 A.M.—The larger schools in Missouri ran their sectional meets May 18 with the winners earning a spot at the state meet. The top four in each event will advance to Jefferson City for Friday and Saturday’s state championships on the campus of Lincoln University.

CLASS 1 AND 2 STATE MEET, DWIGHT T. REED STADIUM, JEFFERSON CITY, 9 A.M.—The smallest schools in Missouri compete for the state championship. Among those schools looking for some hardware are Maplewood-Richmond Heights, Principia and Brentwood.

TUESDAY, MAY 22

BASEBALL SECTIONAL

ROUND OF PLAYOFFS, ALL CLASSES—Those fortunate enough to win district titles will take another step closer to state when they tussle with another district winner in the sectional round. Visit STLhighschoolsports.com for updated schedules, matchups and hosts.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

SECTIONAL ROUND OF PLAYOFFS, ALL CLASSES—District champions will eliminate one another as they compete for a spot in the quarterfinals. Visit STLhighschoolsports.com for updated schedules, matchups and hosts.

THURSDAY, MAY 24

BASEBALL QUARTERFINAL

ROUND OF PLAYOFFS, ALL CLASSES—The winners of these games will punch their ticket to the state semifinals and a berth in the final four in Springfield. Visit STLhighschoolsports.com for updated schedules, matchups and hosts.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

STATE SEMIFINALS, LINDENWOOD UNIVERSITY, TBD—The final four will be cut down to two as the top tier area lacrosse teams vie for a shot at the state championship. The top four teams are MICDS, SLUH, Parkway West and Rockhurst. Visit STLhighschoolsports.com for up to the minute matchups and times.

GIRLS’ SOCCER
