ANDREW ZIMMERMAN, executive chef at Sepia Restaurant in Chicago, will be the guest celebrity chef for St. Louis Community College Foundation’s black-tie gala on Saturday, Feb. 8. Falling in Love…in Five Courses will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. Cocktails will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Joining Zimmerman will be the Four Season's own executive chef FABRIZIO SCHENARDI and the chefs and students from the college’s culinary arts program. The team behind EdgeWild Restaurant & Winery in Chesterfield opened its latest venture, WildSmoke, this week at 12316 Olive Blvd. in the Westgate Centre in Creve Coeur. WildSmoke is helmed by pitmaster ANTHONY COLLIDA, who has worked with the likes of local chefs extraordinaire Marc Del Pietro, Chris Lee and Andy White. Collida collaborated on the menu with executive chef AARON BAGGETT, who also serves as executive chef at EdgeWild. WildSmoke’s menu features nine options of smoked meats: baby back ribs, beef brisket, hot link, pulled pork, turkey, chicken, prime rib, salmon and KC burnt ends. Beverage-wise, WildSmoke serves its own house-made root beer, as well as local craft beers and 11 wines by EdgeWild. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Vino Nadoz Bistro & Wine Bar is now Vino Nadoz Private Event Space. The restaurant, part of the Steven Becker Fine Dining group, now will be used for events such as business meetings and other get-togethers, as well as overflow seating for the adjacent Nadoz Café.
