Many delicious pies were submitted to the annual Ladue News pie recipe contest, and the race was almost too close to call. Each pie was both unique and tasty, and our judges had a great time sampling them. Special thanks to guest judge Chef Susie Judy of L’Ecole Culinaire, and to all of those who entered. And congratulations to winner Gail Dollard, whose Lemon Meringue Pie won over our hearts (and taste buds!) and earned her a gift certificate to L’Ecole Culinaire.
