The new Personal Fitness and Nutrition Center, offered through Vatterott College, invites the community to a special open house at its educational and training facility. Visitors can tour the training center, learn about the new 50-week Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma program offered through Vatterott College and participate in mini training and nutrition sessions taught by licensed instructors. Tim Wilson, a local man who defied the odds after a life threatening car accident and went from an obese state of 290 pounds to a National Strongman Competitor, will be on hand sharing his inspirational story. The new Personal Fitness Training program offers education in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and teaching others to accomplish the same. Fitness professionals will be on hand to answer training and nutrition questions about this growing career field. Complementary food and beverage is provided. Classes for the new program begin on Feb. 25.
