The Dream exhibition will feature 85 works of art from 25 artists. Included in the exhibit is a unique and eclectic selection of sculptures, paintings, drawings, fine art prints and artifacts from around the world. Many of the works are from The Winter Family Collection or are personal favorites from the private collection of the Dreamer himself, Richard L. Winter. The exhibition opens with a 5 p.m. reception on Friday, Aug. 15.

It is the goal of The Dream exhibition to share the joy of the social, educational and aesthetic experience of art. Throughout the span of the exhibition, special events with the visiting artists Alicia LaChance, Edson Campos, Mackenzie Thorpe, Harry Weber and representatives of artist Bruno Vekemans will be scheduled at the museum. Educational experiences are planned for SLU students that will create opportunities for the students to personally meet the visiting artists and participate in interactive classroom demonstrations.
