Immerse your family in the music and culture of Brazil led by Moacyr Marchini, a native of Brazil and a professional
musician for 30 years. Moacyr specializes in playing the
cavaquinho, a Brazilian guitar, and other traditional Brazilian
hand percussion instruments. He is the founder and director of the Chicago Samba School, a non-profit organization
promoting Brazilian culture, and Samba Bom in St. Louis.

Timeline of events:
3-6 p.m.: Brazil Express Food Truck (available for purchase)
3 p.m.: Music Demonstration, Jam Session, Culture of Brazil Video
4 p.m.: Guitar Quartet
4:15 p.m.: Carnaval Crafts, Drum Circle, Batacuda (Jam Session) & Parade
