The Clarion Brass Quintet, one of St. Louis’ premier musical ensembles, will present “A Renaissance Sleigh Ride,” the group’s third annual holiday concert, on Thursday, Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m. at the 560 Music Center on Trinity Ave. in the Loop. General admission tickets are $12 and may be purchased at the Edison Theatre box office, Mallinckrodt Center at Washington University. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
Mary Weber is the founder and director of Clarion Brass. A renowned trumpet player who performs nationally as well as throughout the Midwest, Weber has put together a repertoire of 14 century holiday classics. In addition to the Brass Quintet, the concert will feature the Saint Louis Women’s Hope Chorale performing a selection of madrigals and Christmas carols, as well as a grand finale of “Most of the Twelve Days of Christmas” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” with Clarion Brass.
